Colour Of Tone Poem by Dana Dilshat

Colour Of Tone

In the colorless school of the colorless world
Walk a boy with dreams in his eyes.
He lets his dreams go free, unleashing a thousand words
Graduate with success someday.

He heard jeers, laughter, taunts and sneers
'You don't belong here, go away'
Tears filled his eyes as he sought for a sign,
Why did they treat him so unkindly?

His tone was dark, he differs from others,
Yet he dared to dream, despite the others
Dreams are like birds, flying in the sky.
Rising high, touch the sky.
