Colors Of The World Poem by Sven Rhoads

Colors Of The World

No more gray to make this place a stone
I create the future that I want to see
Even if I must take this alone
The pale lifeless is not for me

This canvas of a cadaver white
Will bathe in the colors like autumn leaves

The colors of the world will paint the portrait
That only nature can make with no bounds
Bring out the beauty that I see within
From the open sky to the roots in the ground

No more smoke to choke this land
Fires burning until nothing remains
What have you done, the race of man
On the ground the blood does stain

Vicious traditions we need to break
Before the mirror becomes the enemy

I want to expel the poison in my veins
To paint the world in such better shades
Bullets and knives leave only blackholes
Unleash the art that's deep in your soul
