Colorful Days Poem by Daniel Miltz

Colorful Days

Shy butterfly acts, peevishly
Sluggish with startled pride and vain
Drifting rayless, questionably
While dim days dance, sadly, insane

Yet, daylight sleeps, among, songbirds
In darker shades and brighter lights
Reflections wink, past still waters
Whisking away in purple nights
