Colored Smile Poem by Hebert Logerie

Colored Smile

I have never seen one
I have never seen a colored smile
I have never seen a white smile
I have never seen a black smile
I have never seen one
But I have seen a few beautiful smiles
Oh! It feels good when a woman smiles
Especially one who has style
Charisma, elegance, intelligence and a nice profile
I mean one who is not contumelious or vile
I love beautiful smiles
Which brighten the world in style
I love smiles which shine like the sun
I love smiles which bring joy and fun
Oh! They want to color or discolor everything
Even an awe-inspiring rainbow in spring
They want to put the wrong colors on every thing
Oh! Brother Martin, I thank you for unveiling the painting
I love beautiful smiles, simple smiles
Smiles which one can see from miles and miles.
