Coffee Poetry Comments

A fine poem, Yuri. I realised just now after posting a poem of the same title, that you've posted one over five years back. Your welcome to read my version.

Let us have our coffee without spilling a grain of emotion - emotion gets in the way of objectivity, does it, really? Or, maybe, it gives us pain, renews old pains, memories we don't want to recall, and yet, we love the company of this person. This happens. It is painful, though; or is it?

It can be a feeling of intimate life. It can be a statement of poetics, in this case we could have the 'Coffee Poets'. In the previous one, there would be simply somebody who is taking a cup of coffee. The atmosphere is sober, the emotions are expressed without exaggeration. As well as one takes his cup of coffee in the morning, at the beginning of a new day in which has to be a good wide-awake, anyway.
