We human have encroached on animal habitat while insects like cockroaches encroach our dwellings. Tit for tat the animal world would say if they had a tongue to speak! A nice poem.

I have read somewhere that cockroaches saw the ice age and they were on the earth with the dinosaurs and the writer suggested to prepare a soup of cockroaches for a longer life. I don't know how much he is right. But Geetha is always right. The modern drainage and gutter system is responsible for it.

Lol! I think cockroaches have developed better immunity than us. They seem to be God's chosen people for twenty first century. And why not? The way humans are behaving they are bound to loose the title! Thank you for this witty write and thank you so much for your comments. Appreciate it very much.

Cockroaches are a real menace! Not only they but all the bugs and pests have become increasingly resistant to pest killers! Survival of the fittest.....! As I feel so annoyed at them, if I see one in my kitchen, at once I trace it out and somehow destroy it! You have described them in a real humorous way Geetha!

Cockroaches and viruses know how to adapt themselves. New roach killers and antibiotics are continuously needed no one knows how far one can pursue. The travails are beautifully described. Thank you.
