A beautiful story of love and kindness, so compellingly expressed.A loving heart is a kind heart. The butterfly returns to the clove flower because she sheltered him when all others scorned and drove him away as he was poor and ugly.

Such an interesting poem. Reads like a marvelous fairy tale story. Though long I could not stop and enjoyed it till end.

Oh, what a sweet and lovely poem! A bit too long, but it was a pleasure to read and recite aloud. Loved the free flowing rhymes and the beautiful message this poem leaves behind. 'And the home thou shared with the friendless worm The butterfly's home shall be; And thou shalt find, dear, faithful flower, A loving friend in me.' - loved this message, to be grateful to someone for every act of his/her kindness.

Paul Amrod One can understand the passionate surges of a pictorial Nature she could describe would capture Ralph Waldo Emerson who was a fan of her work. Wow a wonderful dreamingly gorgeous representation of Nature's beauty.

A charming tale of vanity vs humility amid the flower beds of life. Tis not sophisticated, tis not deep philosophy but it does make an effective cautionary tale for the young audience... and some of us older readers who enjoy a breath of fresh air once in a while. 10 - -not that the rating scale works

One morning, as the flowers awoke, Fragrant, and fresh, and fair, A little worm came creeping by, And begged a shelter there. A very fine poem and great is the imagination. tony
