A striking metaphor ' cottonballs' for clouds. It takes me back to learning the various types of clouds-cumulus, nimbus, stratus-at high school. Clouds fascinate me, like your poem.

They've always fascinated me, too. Don't forget about the cirrus ones. And cumulonimbus. I remember the very first time I ever flew in a jet. I felt as though I was floating along on puffs of cotton! Thanks, Michael.

Thanks, Lamar, I love it when consonants repeat! (But you have to be careful when reading it aloud - - You can become tongue-tied- - The old 'She sells sea-shells' effect! : -)
