Clouds Poem by John Prophet

Clouds

Clouds
of ignorance.
Mind
shielding.
Machine
bound.
Interconnected.
Mind meld.
Perspective
fading,
real from
virtual.
Heads
in the
clouds.
Tangible
reality,
lost
to the
young.
Technology
gaining
control.
Warping
minds,
reality.
Generations
lost.
Living
in a
different
place.
A different
world.
Rules?
What
rules?
History
be damned.
Make believe,
virtual world.
Now in
demand.
Future
lived,
now lost
in the
clouds.
