Ah! what a breath of fresh air to find this. This is my first reading of any of your works and now I'll go and bury myself in their inviting embrace! 'Face has bravely unfloded a brand new And exciting rhythm for me.' Yes, that's exactly what this poem does to me - shows me a whole new face in this 'still enrticingly' new year. I'll drink full of the strength pouring out of this wite. 10 all the way

I like the variable rhyme scheme you constructed here, Fay, as well as your inventive & 'original' opening line, which carries the poem, and its positive message of hopeful, auspicious genisis, for the new year herenow, in motion..Solid Work, young lady from Cornwall, U.K....and directly on the other side of the Ocean we share! ...And from where i live...just 90 miutes from Cornwall, New York...Home of The Baseball Hall of Fame, where i met the famous Willie Mays, some 25 years ago! Hi Fay: Bring on the year... Toward's heart so dear. Full bloom... Let it be free of sadness and gloom. This new year will come and pass... May the prices of oil be low on gas. This year will travel through the clock of time and the ages... Hopefully to all there will be many happy stages. No future of terrorismal acts be done.... An economy in full swing begun it's run. Recovery will require sacrifice from all... This in turn in the end, will forstall, our final breaking fall. Great poem Fay-Gave it a ten! God bless all poets-MJG.

your command of language is to marvel at. You have a very strong voice in your work, i know this is an overused saying, but sometimes when reading the works of others you can almost hear thier voice reading the poem to you. This is a lovely poem rich with lines that will stay with me long into 2009 best regards my friend Vincent
