Closeness to God

I read the poem about the closeness
who shall have direct access?
to the God to receive
the blessings and firmly believe
I pondered over the issue
and felt that it was due
to give one's own view
and love the internal interview
theoretically. it is the priest
who always insists
that people should follow the right path
and always afraid the death
on God's name,
he claims close vicinity
performs all religious rituals
and as such called sacred individual
the beggar moves
with religious hymns
always God's name on the tongue
with God's picture in the neck to view
I felt shy
and never resolved to try
I can never be close
so chose not to pose for closeness
