an eye opener f r the many devastated young ones. So true, Val, If it was not meant to be, why remain in the illusion of passion.
Closing the door on a feeling that didn't end up being love.............brilliant write. Not really much else to say, other than that it really is wonderful. -W
A delightful love poem. Love lost is never easy, early acceptance can be a blessing though.
More powerful than a lightening bolt. Went right trough me. I stand in awe of what you can do with words and feelings. Can't say anymore, stunned
Acceptance and rejection... two opposing mental features! But there is no absolute verity for them! Those once rejected also can bombard back to life! So not yet time to pull the door tight! (am not serious.......) Nicely put, Val
Quite the contrast between this and Dust of Gold you're showing great versatility in the age old theme of He loves me, he loves me not. Point well taken......
But watch out Val that person could turn the key and lock you in. You never thought it through! Seriously though a nice poem.
yeah but in the morning open the door to a brand new day with hope on the horizon. Very bittersweet poem thanks for sharing BB: O)
you are not alone. you shared your thoughts with us. Nice write. Thank you
A great poem, sometimes it's got to end like this. A great write.
An arrow that shoots straight to the heart of the matter. I must say Val this one is short and to the point. Why beat around the bush when it comes to love. If love has died or can no longer flourish why try to bring it back to life? A very distinct and poignant write. Bold and beautiful.
