Cloak And Dagger Poem by Ray Hansell

Cloak And Dagger

Last night he dreamed of her
It took him by surprise
He had not even a clue
Of the color of your eyes

He'd never seen your face
He'd never heard your voice
When it comes to dreams
We don't have a choice

They have never met
Who knows if they ever will
But this cloak and dagger stuff
He thought was a thrill

He surely hopes they can
Keep hanging out in cyber space
Wondering if they'll get the chance
To ever meet face to face

He thinks it's kind of mysterious
Not knowing much about the other
He thinks that if they were to meet
They could make each others heart flutter

Or maybe fall so deep in love
Never to get out
For now they're only words
But something to think about
