Click to confirm you are not a robot
أكد لي أنك لست روبوت

Click to confirm you are not a robot
The words that mock me every time I log on
As if I am just a machine with no heart or soul
A mask of a man in his sixties, hiding behind a screen
I am not a robot, I scream internally
But the message remains, taunting me
A reminder of my disconnect, my alienation
In this digital world where human touch is scarce
I click the box, proving my humanity
But the doubt still lingers, like a shadow
Am I really just a collection of wires and circuits?
Or is there something more that defines me?
I long for real connection, for genuine interaction
But all I find are pixels and avatars
A facade of intimacy that leaves me empty
As I navigate this lonely landscape of zeros and ones
Click to confirm you are not a robot
The words echo in my mind, a mantra of isolation
I long to break free from this mechanical existence
To reclaim my humanity, my identity
But the screen beckons, drawing me in
And I find myself once again clicking the box
Hoping that this time, maybe this time
I will be seen, truly seen, as more than just a robot disguised as a man.
