That one just hit me straight in the chest. Canyons of noise and yes silent souls, gray shadows of the twilight What powerful images! ! ! It's the first time I have become aware of the connection between loud noise and loneliness. Something I will ponder more on. The last line almost breaks my heart I'm so glad I live in the wilderness surrounded by mountains, silence and wilderness. Brilliant poem Tom
