Let's form a circle and hold hands
And sing of peace in all the lands
Let the circle grow a little
Include those that you belittle
Let it form a little larger now
Embrace those that are not kind somehow
Even a little bigger please
Admit those that are hard to please
Let's see if we can find
Those that are somewhat blind
And how about those that are deaf
Not your choice now to be the ref
Let's not forget those with the bad smell
How about those with bodies to sell
Remember to receive those with poor taste
And all of them who are not all that chaste
And how about those that are quick to touch
And those who are hard to like very much
Now close your eyes and see if you can find
Those that are of the so bitter kind
Even tighter now and visualize Prez Trump
And all of those that The Donald kicked in the rump
Now pretend that you are so very blind
That the KKK are your very kind
Now for the very difficult part
Make-believe that you have such a great heart
Cue in all that make you fall apart
Empower those you belittle
Many compliments not little
In those that are unkind
Kick them in the behind
Those that are hard to please
Give them a loving squeeze
To them that are deaf and blind
Always be so very kind
With those in the Trump camp
Remember you're The Champ
Now send out your positive energy
To all of them that are so damn needy
Now open your eyes and watch closely
Your energy transmits easily
You've empowered them and yourself
By opening to Higher Self

Your words, sometimes wry and silly, playful and jabbing, point to a very large truth. We, as humanity, are ultimately responsible for peace and brotherhood. We must all be willing to shed our prejudices─but as you so wisely point out─the even more difficult task of dropping our offenses. Forgiveness is one of the most difficult aspects of living in this world with so much offense of man against his own kind, but it is one of the noblest aspects of our character, and in my perspective, a clearer revelation of the divine. Excellent, good poet!
Truly excellent feedback, Seamus. Thank you so much for reading, and taking the time to craft those wise words. Greatly appreciated! I sincerely hope that you will read some more of it and comment/rate. Thx again.
