Chrysanthemum on the Edge of Dusk
By William He
The eroding waves catch fleeting light,
Crimson crows drift on ripples' flight.
The gloaming sky whispers beneath red mist,
A cool breeze stirs, as crab claws sail.
Crisp melodies weave with the tides' rise and fall,
Evening's song takes wing, like feathers, one and all.
Through autumn's haze, its wheels turn slow,
The chrysanthemum moon glows—who, then, is pure?
