Chronicles Of My Bliss Poem by Nikhat Bano

Chronicles Of My Bliss

A day I thought to flow back in time,
to my primal source of beginning;
To compare my past with my presence,
to be in sync with my past bickering.

Along with nature I wish to sing in chorus,
a hymn to our vast chronicles;
Listen to these sunken pebbles and stones,
along with them our fairy tale rustles.

The spouting and racing stream,
is narrating a forgotten lore,
of lovers who once lived near this brook.
Look! Shadows are emerging in the fore.

It seems as if every memoir of our union,
is kept with care in time's golden chest;
In this nature's serene and pious patch,
life is celebrating a memory fest.

From the ocean of my recollection,
a brook of warm memory is brimming,
chasing and coaxing every bit of mine,
every nerve of my body is splitting.

I just saw a glimpse of yours,
a flicker on that rock under full moonlight;
These flashes are my havens,
where my blissful thoughts flock at night.
