When atheists say there is no God, I simply tell them that simply on rational grounds one can choose a religion if not born into one and just the beauty of the Birth of Jesus makes me choose it as the most beautiful symbol of love and I cannot offer proof and need none as it is the best fantasy, if fantasy it be, in which to live - and then they leave my beliefs alone.
I decided years ago that I can't prove anything to anybody. They always have a reason to disbelieve my proofs. I have seen some disproofs of the Bible in magazines that were ridiculous.
