Christmas Eve Poem by Rajitha K.S. Ayyappan

Christmas Eve

Rating: 1.0

Lantern dreams flicker atop the Christmas tree,
Ribboned-wrapped boxes held in morning's glee.

Winter's nightcap jingles with cool 'Claus' promises,
Beneath chubby cheeks and glinting irises.

Cocooned in this mesmerizing Christmas Eve sight,
A Lilliputian face on a pillow prays for dawn's light.
