Christ Died For All Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Christ Died For All

Who are these God people
That the pastor speaks of?
Are they chosen and special,
Or just religious love?

Were they handpicked by God,
Given a higher place?
Or are they just like us,
Sinners in need of grace?

Christ died for all,
That much is true,
But are these God people,
Some elite chosen few?
Can the devil boast,
And claim any soul?

Or are we all saved,
By Jesus' ultimate goal?
Are we not heirs,
Of the Son above?

Or is salvation limited,
To just a select few in love?
If it's not for all,
Then why did Jesus die?
To save only some,
And leave others to sigh?

No, we are all God people,
Each and every one.
For Christ died for all,
And through him, salvation is won.
