cassie, a wonderful little gem. i might like it even more if i were a great pianist as you are (will be?) . unlike, apparently, Khainul, i really liked the line: Tastes like the look of drifting snow. in fact, it is my favorite line of the poem. i might have written Smoothness of vanilla Häagen-Dazs® ice cream, instead of piano keys. this is my second-favorite line: Smooth as summer's sweet apple blossoms. thanks for sharing. :) bri p.s. i just noticed, while proofreading my comment, that you used BOTH smooth and smoothness in one little poem. well, it worked. the piece must really be SMOOTH!

'Tastes like the look of drifting snow.' How can something taste like the 'look' of another?
