Choices, Choices, Decisions, Decisions Poem by Shaun Cronick

Choices, Choices, Decisions, Decisions

Rating: 5.0

If the enemy of my enemy,
Is my friend,
What happens,
If he's secretly double bluffing me.
And is also triple-crossing me.
And he's wearing a mask.
A good one.
God where do I stand?
And who can I trust?
Choices, choices...
Decisions, decisions...

A great predicament indeed. Who can we trust? A never ending question. Trust has been so elusive especially in this modern and material world. A wonderful and insightful poem that many of us could relate thereto. Beautifully crafted.

Thank you Rose Marie for your most kind and gracious comment. And you are right, trust, is elusive in the modern, frenetic modern world. But there's more good than bad. Thank again Rose Marie and take care my friend.
