Choice Of Chance Poem by Airda Jones

Choice Of Chance

(More thoughts to accompany the election...)

Close my eyes and point
Randomness my choice
Not intelligence yet choosing
The same logic as those
Opponents who fight for
Their rights and beliefs
What beliefs? So many
Inquiries have fallen to the
Floor and were trampled
Upon by people like myself
Is it not only fair? Is it
Not justice they deserve?
To be picked as a number
From the hat to win a
Prize that all of our
Eyes are on. When they
Choose their choice, then
I shall take it back and
Then make mine as well.
