Children: Late Heaven's Orphaned Poem by james watkin

Children: Late Heaven's Orphaned

Closer than is realised
If tossed, with a jest.
This statement of doubt, they
Of nanny, before
This world, if sunned in it
Fully inhabit.

Day-woke, yet dreamy eyed!
Supervised yet lost!
Whilst whose spell, through which gleam
Holds Earth's wonder-store
Heaven's, as dim recall's
Seemingly enthrals.
