Hearing squeals of laughter outside
I looked out...
Saw tiny feet running down the pavement
‘Wow.... See the flower in the air'

Hey, Valsa! I relate to your reflection here but take comfort in the words of Jesus, Unless you become like children... It’s unavoidable to be schooled in the hard things of life as you point out here. But becoming jaded is another thing—which I know you know. Bubbles are delicate, are fragile. O but the significance they can have if we let them! And what seems so solid? Science teaches it is mostly empty space. -Glen
Part One- -We start out little bubbles of wonder but then we grow up and grow away from all this sweet innocence and therein lies the human tragedy... few people can retain that capacity of eager excitement for each new day. I really love this poem., Valsa- -you have made it both charming and tragic- not an easy achievement. Also onto my fav list!
This is a tragedy, isn't it? We ourselves started out with wonder in our chubby little hands and in our eager little eyes... I remember instances from my childhood- -my first encounter with a firefly back east, my first boyfriend in the second grade! ! , my father taking me horseback riding for the first time! Bubbles of wonder- -most excellent definition of children ever! ! ! 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++.
You have drawn such a vivid picture of childhood innocence. But what a difference it is in world ! ! 'But in the blink of an eye They would be adults Doubt and fear clouding their world Grappling with umpteen problems of life Shutting themselves in the prison of thoughts And getting tutored in the martial arts To live in a world of sham and deceit! '
Children are such joy. The most beautiful, innocent and full of life. God bless then all. Thank you Valsa for sharing some of your joy you received from watching children play.
How very true Valsa, your lovely piece brought back lots of memories, Innocence in its purest form. What a pity it is that we all have to age. Thanks Valsa
A delightful picture of children's innocence n carefree ways. How little things can make children happy n how everything in the world is a wonder to them. But what a nuisance that childhood cant last forever n you just cant escape the worries n troubles of adulthood. Well penned.
The poem reminds one of one's own early life of careless wonderful days. Beautifully penned.
I love the title of your poem: children- bubbles of wonder! - indeed they are! they teach us how to live in the present moment with hearts open to wonder, and spirits free. Even though the childhood years do not last, they remain in our memory as the most enchanting part of our lives! I very much enjoyed reading this poem!
Childhood is like a bubble that shows a rainbow but for very short time, Children grow quickly and face the bitter realities of life. A great description that makes us thinking not only about the beauty of childhood but also the realities of life,
If children would always be children —and that land would surely be rich in everything always for in such paradise stream of love never ceases and God loves to stay ever, ever and ever.....rightly said children are the bubbles of wonder...........Valsa.....as always the best.......10
Children are innocent and are out of violence. They play with clapping, romping and dancing. They get glee in catching butterflies. But in the blink of an eye they would be adults and would be entangled with umpteen problems. They become the residents of a world of sham and deceit! Beautifully presented. Brilliant poem.
next in teens they begin to grow conscious about their appearance, lifestyle e.t.c.....every minute is interesting for us to watch them....you have analysed their phase also...very laudable poem Valsa

Wonderful observation on children.....they are too innocent up to five years... we feel very divine about them...then they grow mischievous , frisky, sometimes grumpy yet innocent and good with toothless laughter....we have fun with them...
Wow! It's a love piece of work! I love children...they are the so innocent and pure, free from all sins! You have brilliantly drafted this elegant piece of poetry! My favorite lines: But in the blink of an eye/They would be adults/Doubt and fear clouding their world/Grappling with umpteen problems of life...I absolutely agree what you have expressed in the last stanza! It's a pragmatic piece of work so elegantly penned!
Even the most hard hearted too is attracted to children's innocence Obviously she was referring to a butterfly I watched the glee in their innocent eyes. You have related Valsa George, this innocence and hard realities of life...10
