I love my children, oh, so much.
I love them better than tongue can tell
But I love them and let them be,
Some day they will make me proud, you see.
For if I should worship them while here
God might call them away some-where.

While I sit alone in the twilight hours
  Reflections crowd before me,
They carry me back to baby-land
  Where children pounced upon me.
