A wonderful poem! ! Here I see an affectionate mother's heart pining to be at the rescue of the street urchins! ! Often I too am tormented by the sad plight of poor children struggling for a square meal, while we eternally mourn that our own children do not eat to our heart' content(not to their content) ! ! A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, Prasanna! !

The society made of so called humans is the prime cause of this condition on earth. Good piece.

STRONG LOCUTION AND STRILING IMAGERY BRINGS THIS PIECE HOME AS A MASTER WORK....AND YES, I DO BELIEVE THE UNBAPTIZED CHILD WILL BE WELCOME INTO GOD'S GATE, DESPITE WHAT THE NEW TESTAMENT MAY MISNOMERIZE... FJR

Incredible images you painted... b/c my love for children, this has struck a very painful chord in me, knowing there are those without, everyday. They are the ones that don't deserve this kind of life, they are too innocent..... ~~Lee

The two little hands picking rotten grapes from the gutter make me sick to the roots The soft touch on my knees-two arms asking for alms unwashed face, shabby tangled hair, loose big garments-unfitting My mind pulsating with this puerile act - this World of puddle- am a real coward
