Duncan, what a timeless 'find' on this third day of 2010. CHILDREN is really a series of little poems, (like the Psalms or Proverbs in the Bible) , each verse, self-contained and worthy of inclusion in a book of 'inspirational thoughts'. I know I haven't made contact for a while and I am thrilled to see you are still gracing PoemHunter with your beautiful poetry and your compassionate approach to life and living - and of course children. There is so much wisdom and joy in this sincere and heart melting poem Duncan. I feel every parent should read this beautiful piece. Perhaps it could be read out at a parent/teacher night or where parents are assembled together, because it can help our children as they become raised with love become the next generation...Top marks!
