I love Gibran's answer to your poems question as an elder, I have my answer too, When we have not lived our life to the fullest, we channel our desire through children. Thus, it is life longing for its life to live.Life have difficulties letting life live life its way. read my 'A Mother's Collection of: Tissues, Bones, and Blood. dedicated to my four children whom I love dearly for i know they did not choose me as their mother, yet they're pleased with the choice I made.
A positive poem for parents. Thanks for sharing.
abdul - Yes, you are right to say that children have rights too. If you read Gibran he stated 'Your children are not your children, but life's longing for itself.' I am glad you saw us both standing on a hill with children in a dream. That is a powerful and hopeful vision. Please keep writing! Your friend - Cheryl
children need to be heard, not always told, Yoonoos says you have nicely brought out a lovely parent/ child relationship code. top marks
You are right, people who correct children should live by their own rules. kat
