Children Poem by Sudama Saha

Children

Children gazing towards the sky,
They see birds flying, midst of clouds.
Their hearts soar high.
Stars twinkle at night, up high they spy.

Rain falls and the muddy ground,
Children's feet muddy with colours profound.
Jumping puddles and splashing all around,
Joyful laughter they, in each other's company found.

Young children and tender grass
This is like a dewy morning grass
just born, on the earth,
Under the open sky.
