Childhood Passion Poem by Parameswaran Nair Damodaran Nair

Childhood Passion

Rating: 5.0

I used to rush out to behold the rainbow
And to feed my eyes and soul its beauty
Like the hungry who never had a feast

To be lost in the melody of the cool rain
And to be wet in the dripping rain drops
Was a passion of those childhood days

That intense hunger and deep passion
Have lost their forcing fire and strength
Having been subdued in strains of life

A beautiful poem giving us a great remembrance of our childhood. So very true. Despite of our ardent desire to do the things we have done in our early years, our physical capabilities put a limit on the things we can enjoy in life.

Very true dear RMJ. We can enjoy the enchanting beauty only if our body can move along with the mind

Children has a range of characteristics like curiosity and exploration of the world around us. They can fully enjoy Mother Nature to their heart's desire. Such a great passion in a child.
