Laughter rings in summer's heat,
Joyful echoes, soft and sweet.
Chasing dreams with hearts so wide,
With open hearts and endless pride.
Holding hands, no fears to chase,
Every moment, love's embrace.
Little feet in the rain had swayed,
Splashing joyfully as we played.
Stars would shine on whispered prayers,
Life was simple, free of cares.
Memories are sweet; they never fade.
Of childhood joys and friends we made.
New dreams bloomed with every dawn.
In painted skies we'd wish upon.
Time moved slowly, yet flew so fast.
Etching stories meant to last.
