A poetic gem that will always, always touch the heart.
We are blessed that we can understand poetry. We can feel and see the true meaning of life.
One of the best poems I have read on childhood. Soran's poetry has always that magic that will grip /lure a reader to revisit his works.
There is a child inside-----who wishes only for a bike to ride the rainbow's road and never come down - but time will not lend him a hand---What a stunning poem!
We are confused between dream and realitty The poem mirrors the truth
The child inside the poet is Artistically brought forward
I have not enough words to praise this poem. Its inner tenderness and childlike innocence is so well expressed and beautified, so far reaching in tenderness that every time I read it, I will cry. The happiness to know that innocence and poetry still can be a lifelong guide. Thank you so much for this unforgettable and marvelous creation.
This is a profound piece......Thanks for sharing......anjandev roy.
Dear poet and critic Rose thanks for reading and enjoying this humble poem, ....you are right, the childhood is the hidden side in our personalities, time to time it comes on to the surface without our demand, in some events or special moment when we are struggling and feeling weak or losing the contact with the awkward reality, take care and always be on the top
The pains and fears will always stay in us invading our senses. Liked the three closure lines, to wit; " the child inside me never stops crying is always hungry." Powerful and beautiful lines of a great poem.10+++
A perceptive and thought provoking poem. The memories we gathered in our childhood form part of our being embedded in our very core. The joys we experienced in life as a child will always linger in our mind and we wish it will never end..
Dear Mahtab, really your generous commentary encouraging me to write better, kind regards
In our character childhood is hidden lovingly. Childhood emotion, sense of humor, ideology keep growing up in us till the end breath; your poem is crafted the theme of childhood in the old age very acutely....pleasure to read
Dear poet Valsa George hello, your comment is very true, thanks you for your time reading and commenting on my humble poem, take care
Yes, there is a child in each one of us. The older we grow, the child in us never dies. Only after crossing sixty, I have realized this! Each grown up has fears, longings and wants.... may be a little different from that of children. The child in us alone sustains our curiosity, innocence and zest for life. Fortunate are those who keep the child alive in them. A beautiful write unraveling a great truth! Full marks!
Thank you Aarzoo Mehek, that is the nature of human being, I hope you have enjoyed it, regards
What a Marvelous poem! So intense and wonderful in its truth, sentiments and poetic beauty.
