Child Who Sees Eggs In A Nest (Lifted In Mother's Arms) Poem by james watkin

Child Who Sees Eggs In A Nest (Lifted In Mother's Arms)

Daughter, child, what have you found?
Can you tell me?
Does it frighten you, this world, or
Tickle your fancy?

'Mommy what do you mean? '
All the long while
Eyes, like two lanterns, just turned on
Placed, ivy-walled
Softer, stainless, sweet care's
enthralled
Rates it fragile!
