Even as we get older we dont lose our childish natures. Yes, our bosses are stupid poopyheads i love it.
Small children pick up foul words quickly. From where do they pick up? The poet tells it in his humorous way!
What is this idiocy of having a robot read the poem in a video depicting a cloudy sky and a tiny fragment of some ugly apartment complex? It's one thing to find good poem in an ugly place; it's another to create an ugly place for a good poem.
A very impressing poem, I have enjoyed this very interesting poem, such a pleasant treat. A TEN and much more for the Voting. CONGRATULATIONS for The Poem of The Day, Billy!

Their fellow squirts! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Children are supposed to be as happy and full of frolic and play as all living beings in the spring-time of life ought to be.......Very informative and edifying indeed told amusingly.........thanks for sharing
Oh, yes! Let's hear the truth, Billy Collins, in your way and humorous tone! I tire of all those angelic children lisping sweet words
this poem is one of those precious poems ever to every living soul if ever understand the poems words and real intention! ! ! !
Hey I thoroughly enjoyed it......it was hilarious! ! ! and sooooooo true.
Billy Collins is a degenerate Robert Frost. A man who slaps his knee at the end of the poem and points at the crowd like he recreated poetry.
This poem is cute... I know how little kids name call and I can picture a lot of little kids saying these things. I work with kids 5 1/2 months- 15 years old at a health club daycare.
Deep and exquisitely crafted is this brilliant poem of yours, prof. A thought-provoking write.
