Cherished Poem by Alexander Romanov

Cherished

While she sleeps,
As millions of people sleep,
My thoughts through the Pleiades,
Wander and creep.
Just me and them,
At the window, silently smoking

I pray to you,
Snow colored guardian angel,
Don't let the silence wake her.
As long as autumn is followed,
By winter's steps,
She'll be my cherished,
My soul, my heartbeat,
and my healing.

With white frost,
On my palm, she draws the lines:
My reality, dreams, and oblivion.
Yin and yang,
She and I

My love, while you sleep,
Like a comet I fall,
From from the skies,
Into your arms
and there I sleep.
Time stops
So this cherished dream
We forever keep.

Wake me
With a glass of thawed water.
Cast away all doubts.
I'll imprison my thoughts
In the dungeons of your red lips.
But in my loneliness,
To my knees I fall,
To the devil I call:
Happiness for my soul!
I'm a young old man.

A sacred night
Pure as air.
Velvet darkness,
The color of her hair.
On the drainpipe,
Plays the saxophonist,
Lighting the dawn,
as the soul trembles.

Your smile
Reflects the heavens,
as the stars twinkle and fall.
No words I utter.
In my eyes,
You read it all.
The quite echo
Of my heart and soul

This world,
An empty waiting hall.
Hand in hand,
We stand,
Waiting for our call.
Your eyes
Reflect the heavens
and the Starfall.
In a tight embrace,
Our souls soar,
Between two vanishing skies.

Wake me
With a glass of thawed water.
Cast away all doubts.
I'll imprison my thoughts
In the dungeons of your red lips.
But in my loneliness,
To my knees I fall,
To the devil I call:
Happiness for my soul!
I'm a young old man.
