I LOVE THIS ONE! ! ! ! ! ! so descriptive and touching! ! ! it does justice to the life of the salmon... it practically sums up the whole book! ! ! ! love it! ! ! nesh :)

This is a great and inspired poem. The Salmon represents to me the rythm and purpose of all life. To respond to the urgency of replication . It is also the great symbol to me of the circle of life which is to respond to the challenge of living by overcoming all obstacles and then to lie awating in the warm sunlit pond for the end to come reassured by the birthing fry that the efforts of living are to produce life.
