The sight of a star-spangled sky at night
If soaks you with wonderment of a child,
Woolly gossamer clouds with same delight,
And if this joy stays on put for long and wild;
A blade of grass sprouting up in the field,
A bud blossoming into spring flower,
If both move you no less with new wonder,
The age has none of your child's wonder killed.
If nature opens in mind a new page
And lingers long, shades of meanings get piled,
If that child lives young beyond passing rage,
No wonders getting ever reconciled,
Stay naïve, split age by a factor of five,
Cheer up, the child in you is all alive.
