You are already a poet. This is well done, but I thought it would be about chess. I love a good game of chess. Three of my poems are about chess. They are IGOR, ETERNAL GAME? and BULLDOG OF IDAHO CHESS.

Really it so. Nobody can become a poet unless his or her nature is poetic. It is not necessary that a poet should be educated, or a degree holder, but the heart must be full of fancies and emotions along with flow of language.you've presented it in a quite nice way of expression.
