I believe in happy endings,
In the 'Happily Ever After' of a Cinderella tale;
In rewards for good deeds,
And a crown for a long-lost prince.
I believe in a rewarding journey, a quest of trials and testings.
Though my strength may rival Samson's,
I, like Job, grapple with my grievances too,
Wondering why I must carry these loads.
Yet my head is bloody, but unbowed
Now standing at a crossroads in the yellow woods,
Sighing as I chose the narrow way,
Doubting if I should ever come back.
So, I may as well be the Anabel Lee along the way;
Coveted by the three evils: greed, hatred, and ignorance;
Tried by the three inevitables: old age, disease, and death
Yet I'll hold fast to dreams of happy endings;
Still seeking, still pursuing,
I'd journey to the moon;
To find a paradise still within reach.
wow this is nice, hope this inspires even more to write.
