Charity Dictates



My child's sickness
could disrupt
my chosen
moments of prayer.

In these cases,
charity dictates
that we attend
to this pressing
needs of my child.

However,
the danger is
that we have
a tendency to
let what is
more trivial
overwhelm
our commitment
to prayer.
