It's the attitude after the character development that really matters;
Others become players because they no longer believe that people truly love and care for other people: that the romantic world is full of cynics masquerading as hopeless romantics,
Others become cold at heart because the feeling of Love no longer sits right in their minds,
Others get bitter and angry that no amount of convincing could make them believe in another Love: that courtship is entirely meant for procreating miniature copies of themselves and maybe meet the societal expectations if they are a by-the-book kind, but never for intimacy or romance,
Others take this anger and bitterness to another level: the level of changing their sexual preference as a form of punishment to their former twin flame, which ends up being problematic to the third parties whose sexuality has never been a choice. So the majority's question is that, if the former switched lanes, how can the latter claim that it occurred naturally to them?
Then there's this category that startles biology. Either they celibate themselves literally or go the extra mile of adding a religious role,
Finally, there are those who face the tragedy of all. Mentally they grow to know there's no such thing as the one, but all about your turn, and still emotionally believe that someday they'll end up in the arms of the one they are destined to find.
It's tough in these streets no lie, some forms of love will make you speak in your mother tongue before you realize that the real kind involves less words. Sometimes, none because the diversity of cultures in the modern day world has not stopped two hearts beating in one from being in Love.
Whichever path your footsteps find, remember your opinion of Love is dependent on your attitude after the first time.
So, what's yours?
