Chaos -Somewhere, Somehow- Poem by Soran M. H

Chaos -Somewhere, Somehow-

Rating: 5.0

The hospitals are full

Outside again and again
the wind blows through a deep crack
I don't say
Graveyards are full

There is not space on the ground
for dwellings
Even the hulks are full
Lifts are full
We must take the stairs down
to alien food banks!
there is not even space to queue...

Rights and wrongs are confused
Don't be surprised
if thieves invite officials for dinner
even prisons are full!
.
And all these winds blow through one crack.
A wind of hatred
that withered the roses of tolerance
scattered our guests
waving from Kigali!
.
To stop the wind
in this long bitter night
close this hole with the tip of your pen.

A very powerful poem depicting brilliantly a chaotic society. So deeply poignant. A reader can see and feel hardship in every fiber of this beautiful poem.
