What a wonderful poem, reminds me of my two sons, they were always trying to please me also. I would tell them how proud I was of them, respected them, they are both fantastic men, great gentle fathers providing for their families. Always doing things for us, their parents, taking us out to eat, getting things for us, and they both call us every single day to see how we're doing. As a Mom, Grandma, Aunt and Great Aunt, I am truly blessed in this life. Make your Mom see your love and caring in a poem just for her, show your unique self in the love you have for her, let it be all about her and how she makes you feel. It will definitely touch her heart in ways you will never expect. Take care, Don. You are an excellent poet. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

Eyes are burning from the tears of emotion. Trying to become a better child is interesting. Promise given to mother is tender. Her affection gives power of feelings. Changing life into a good personality is great aspect. This is very emotional and an outstanding affectionate poem...10
