Formally, a perfect haiku, but it's so much more than that. You tell a complex story in just a few images. So much happens in that gap between lines 2 and 3! That's where the creative energy of this poem resides. Coiled energy always accumulates in a haiku, and in your poem I can really feel it.

I'm glad you liked my small Haiku. In China, Chang'e is often used as a metaphor for homesickness and loneliness. When we see the moon, we'll think of the Goddess of Moon Chang'e... Thank you Daniel for your nice comment!
