Breathtaking imagery, ignites the imagination, the opening lines are solid as gold, Tagore professes his love for his mother that is eternally endearing to last a thousand lifetimes. So glad this was chosen as poem of the day

I never had opportunity to read Ravindranath Tagore's poems. This is my first one. No doubt because of his such Gracious poems he got nobel prize for his book 'Gitanjali'.
