Such a beautiful evocation of love...and so surprising from a male being couched in female terms. I think you are a seahorse...swimming up the Thames! This is startling with its beauty and how that little action blossoms into the image of you giving birth...its so touching and gentle and tender. Sob...sorry a little tear. You catch the tentative first little seedlings of love as they ache to come into existence. Such a beautiful beautiful poem. I am so moved by it. love Debs
