My hairs stood on end for hours on end!
And while we tried learning about it on Google search,

my favorite stanza....so far: We couldn't just ignore a pair of painful pincers on the loose There wasn't way to rope those like bull horns in a noose. ......................and pincers even look like horns, in miniature! - - - - - - stingers could use an apostrophe i think :) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - another favorite: This insectivore when we tried then to shoo, with lightning speed it zig-zagged out of view! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - i saw your name and comment after someone else's (spelling? ; it gets underlined in red no matter how i spell it!) poem. we've met before, but i have been ignoring your fine poems, but not on purpose! ============================== SO, I WONDER how you all made out. Did you corner the critter and bang its snout? Or did it come at you with crawling-but-deadly speed? Just tell us: DID you die? The details i don't need. And, if you died, then you needn't answer me. Don't forget to thank God that it all for free! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - thanks for sharing. fun, clever, well-written. bri :) i've added this poem to MyPoemList. i also think i'll send to my 'college' friend bill, in fiji.
Sounds garish, but quite funny, on the bright side your centipede problem allowed you to write this unique body of work. I like centipedes but I admit if I found one crawling around my bedroom at night I might have to reconsider loving all of gods creatures. Funny write, thanks for sharing.
Very nicely written it made me smile.Well done I enjoyed reading this
I had several great laughs reading this! If he arrives in my house per chance, I'll seek his many hands and upon his little head I'll dance! Just what the woman demands!
After reading your poem only I started thinking of the scare a flying centipede or flying scorpion can inflict! ! Ouch.... If they sting.....! I shudder to think of it....! Any way this scary creature has motivated(?) rather dismayed you to write such an interesting poem.... Enjoyed much! !
so beautifully put in verse the common scare of a poisonous insect.......................a tinge of comic hue made it more salty to savour.....
