I love the mystery of the celestial phenomena - we did a play at school about Venus getting to marry Darkness (personified as a mishievous character) and Leap Year (personified as a beautiful girl called 'Skrikkeljanie' in Afrikaans) marrying the Sun - a benevolent character - loved your poem!
